alright so ive always had this little place in my heart for this one guy, but i don't think he realizes it. he kind of looks at me as a sister i guess, and i don't know how to change that and sort of open his eyes. any suggestions?

Well, our suggestion would be to treat him more like a potential boyfriend, rather than a best friend. It is always okay to be a little flirty. I think acting a tad more flirtatious and such things of this nature might open his eyes to you. If he still doesn't get the picture, maybe it is time to take a more serious step. You could always just step straight out into the line of fire and tell him how you feel, but before you tell him that, you must know that after that, your "best friend relationship" will never be the same. Just make sure it is what you want before you do it. If your best friends, he will probably always be there for you. Dating your best friend, you will most likely realize that the qualities you are looking for in a boyfriend may not be the same as the qualities you look for in a best friend. And because of this, you two may not work out in the end. But there is always a good chance that it could be a successful relationship.
But most of all, this is just high school, and if the way everything turns out isn't what you hoped or planned, there will be so many more opportunities.
