Why hello there (:
Well you have probably taken note that my name is Haleigh, given that your on my page. But that is beside the point, what you dont know is..well..everything else. This is where this blog comes in.
First off, Taylor and I came up with this splendid plan. The plan being the epic blog you are reading now. And among many great plans that we come up with, I believe this one to be successful, or I hope. We made this blog to document the rest of our high school years. Fill it with inside jokes that none of you will find funny in anyway, pictures that make us look like complete fools, and the occasional intellectual post. We want to share our lives with the rest of the world, and we want to share the stories of other high school students, much like ourselves, as well. This is where our email, sotellmeyourname@rocketmail.com , comes in. Email us anytime and we will post a response as soon as we can. So in a nutshell, this blog = the life of two (extra)ordinary teenage girls.
So about me...on a more personal level. I am sixteen and I have so many expectations that I want this world to fulfill for me. But Im not going to sit here and wait for it to happen. I have dreamt of New York City and New York University since I first set my feet in the concrete jungle when I was only two years old. I even have a mural of NYC in my room. Now THAT is dedication..or obsession, whichever you prefer. I want to go to NYU so badly. But as Taylor has mentioned in her post, the odds are against us. With the acceptance rate of 19%, it will be difficult. The only thing that keeps me studying is the thought if one day walking the campus, lookin like a cool kid. I want to major in Psychology, and minor in dance, photography, journalism, and music. Talk about some hard work. But there isnt a thing I want more in this entire world.
This blog is now documenting the life and times of two (extra)ordinary teenage girls as they struggle to get straight As, answer questions anyone may have, and most of all, just live their lives to the fullest every single day.
